This Watercolor Wings Butterfly Card was one that was made at one of my workshops. It is so simple, but so elegant and can be used for pretty much any occasion.
I had seen a tutorial on how you can make a butterfly stamp with some fun foam and the Butterflies Thinlits. It’s a little messy stamping with this kind of stamp because you get ink on your fingers when you take it off of the block and put it on the block. But it gives you another way to make butterfly cards without so many layers.
We stamped the Watercolor Wings butterfly first with the colors I had chosen. We were trying for a Monarch Butterfly look with this one. Then we stamped the detail with the fun foam stamp that I had created, inked with Memento ink pad. Then we cut out the whole butterfly with the Bold Butterflies Framelits.
If you have any questions on how to make this butterfly card, just post it in the comments below and I will answer it as soon as I can.
