As I started making this card, I decided I wanted to use a Digital Kit so that everything would coordinate perfectly. The Digital Kit that I used is Afternoon Daydream.
This is the front and back of my card as it would be printed. For the background, I changed it to Pool Party. Then I added Natural Composition Overlays – 6, changed it to Pool Party and added a drop shadow to give it an embossed look. The strip behind the greeting tag is three of the border embellishments from the kit layered together. Then I added some Rhinestones to the top border to add some bling to the card. The Birthday Wishes is from Bring on the Cake Stamp Brush Set.
I’ve decided that this year I will create the inside of the card at the same time that I create the outside so that I don’t have to some back and do it later, like I did last year. Once I have it completely done, then all that’s left is to print it out and send it.
