It’s taken me a while to get these posted because we’ve been pretty busy with tiling our basement after it flooded. So this week I had a chance to finish them up with photos and journalling. So here are the first two pages from last month’s Scrapbook Class.
I wanted a way to use the Lattice Die for these pages, so I took a 4″ strip of the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP cut it into squares and ran all of the squares through the Big Shot with the Lattice Die. Then I laid them out so that the pattern matched up. Then I reversed the cut out lattices and matched them up to the cut-out section of the squares. There is a piece of Old Olive Grosgrain ribbon along the edges of the DSP. The flowers are cut out with the Daisies #2 Die and the leaves are cut out with the Oval Punch and run through the Crimper.
I used the Square Lattice Texture Folder on the photo mats and the title block. Then I used the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit to give the flower centers some texture. The flowers on the tag are from the Level 3 Hostess set Playful Pieces.
Be sure to check back tomorrow for see some more pages from that same class.
