Soul Scrappers Sketch Challenge #4

SS Sketch Challenge 4This was a very simple sketch to follow for this challenge. But I find that sometimes the simple sketches are the harder ones to figure out what to do with them, especially those that have lots of journalling space. I tend to have a hard time trying to figure out what to say for my journalling. But once I found the photos that I wanted to use, it ended up not being so hard to come up with something after all.

I also don’t use the alphabets that are in My Digital Studio very often either. But the title for the page was a great place to put them to use. I used the Just Perfect alphabet here. I like being able to make my lettering crooked when I do titles for my pages. Another thing I like about MDS is being able to type in lots of journalling into a much smaller space than I could hand-write it into. And it looks neater, too.

I didn’t want to use a patterned paper for the background because I figured that would make it too busy. But a plain color would make it too plain. So I used the Textured cardstock that is now available for download.

If you would like to see more samples of things I’ve done with MDS, check out my albums. There is one for scrapbook pages and one for cards. The links are at the top of the page. I hope they give you some ideas that you can use.
