This
is the card that we did for our Stamp Club meeting last month. The
ladies wanted to learn to do Faux Silk. Faux Silk is super simple and
has a great look to it, too.
For
our 3-D project we made this cute little Smarties Bat that I had seen
on Sudsol. It’s made using the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot Die and
several punches. The ladies thought this was really cute and it was fun
to make.
This
is the 6×6 page that everyone made for the Club Meeting. I had
originally thought about coloring the textured flowers with Pastels.
But I ended up liking it with just the plain Whisper White CS instead.
And, of course, I had to add some texture to the strip along the bottom
of the page.
Here is the 8-1/2×11 page that the previous page was stepped up to. I stamped on the background with VersaMark ink so that it didn’t look so plain.
With the Eyelet Borders Punch, the Elegant Bouquet Textured Impressions Die and the Perfect Details Texurz Plate being used on the other parts of the page, I felt the 12×12 part needed something to make it elegant, too. That’s where the large flower from the Pretties Kit came in, along with the small daisy from the Daisies #2 Die. I really love the way this page came out. So did the ladies at the Club meeting.
