Card Class

2008-08 - Card Class

On Friday, we did out first of four Christmas Card Classes. I had ordered my supplies for the class on August 12, having an idea of what I wanted to do. As August 18 came around and my order still hadn’t shipped, I realized that I better figure something out with what on hand. Everything is current except the trim on the box and the ribbon on the wreath on top ouf the box. Fortunately, I had enough supplies to do up the kits for the ladies who came to the card class. I go the idea for the box from Andrea Walford.

The lines on the blue card were done by drawing a line with the VersaMarker and a ruler then pouring embossing powder over it and heating it. You can’t see it in the picture, but the blue card had a strip of Night of Navy glued to the inside bottom of the card to show under the scallop.

  1. Fantastic job coming up with alternate projects. And, good for you doing Christmas workshops already.
