6×6 to 8-1/2×11 to 12×12 Scrapbook Page

For my Open House, I finally did something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. I had everyone make a 6×6 page and then showed them how to make the 8-1/2×11 page. They all got to do that part, too. Then I showed them how I took those elements for that page and made a 12×12 and challenged them to go home and do a 12×12 layout with what they had just made.

For this 6×6, the e background is So Saffron stamped with Itty Bitty Backgrounds in VersaMark. Then we used the Scallop Edge Punch to punch the edge of the Holiday Happenings DSP to make a border. The frame is Old Olive punched with Ticket Corner Punch.

For this part of the page, we stamped the snowflake from the Holiday Happenings Bundle in More Mustard on Whisper White. We punched the stars from the Holiday Happenings DSP and used the Scallop Edge Punch to make the Ric Rac out of More Mustard CS for the top of the page.

For the final part of the conversion, I put it on a piece of Kiwi Kiss CS and stamped the edges with the small flower from the Priceless stamp set in VersaMark ink.

See! Now that wasn’t so hard. So if you have a bunch of 8-1/2×11 pages and you want to convert them to 12×12, you can put your smaller page on the larger paper and then just add some pictures or other elements to the side of the larger page. Give it a try and see what you can come up with.
